Santosh Singh: From a Labourer's Son to the STEM Lab

Santosh Singh comes from a poor family. His father is a daily-wage labourer. Continuing his studies was difficult — his own words — and without the school's support, it would not have happened.

The Art of Living Free School at Hendaljuri kept him in a classroom for ten years. He learned yoga, meditation, drawing, archery, robot coding, graphic design, and computer skills. He passed his Class X boards in 2025 with first division.

Today he is in Class XII. The school has given him the responsibility of managing its STEM lab — the same facility that taught him to code. A labourer's son who nearly dropped out now runs one of the school's most advanced rooms.

That is what funded education does. It doesn't just keep a child in a seat. It builds someone the school itself can rely on.
