Maharashtra and Art of Living Sign MoU to Scale Natural Farming Statewide

Praveen Gedam, Agriculture Commissioner, Government of Maharashtra and Shri Prasana Prabhu signed an MOU in Mumbai to propagate Natural Farming.

The Department of Soil and Water Conservation, Government of Maharashtra; has signed an MoU with The Art of Living to implement Natural Farming across 13 lakh hectares in Maharashtra. This initiative by the Government of Maharashtra is critical in fostering sustainable agriculture and safeguarding both soil integrity and public health. The Art of Living has been working with lakhs of farmers in Maharashtra and training them on Natural Farming. This MoU will strengthen and support the same and fast track this very important and urgent cause.
