Rohan Gope: 83.4% and a B.Tech on the Way

Rohan Gope's father is a farmer. His mother is a homemaker. The family had limited resources, but his parents pushed him to study sincerely and move forward. The school made that possible.

Rohan graduated from SSVM Hendaljuri in 2022 with 83.4%. He is now pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at Maryland Institute of Technology and Management College, Galudih.

"The strong foundation, discipline and values that I received from my school have played a very important role in shaping my future and helping me reach this stage," he says.

A farmer's son from a Jharkhand village, studying computer science engineering. That trajectory is not automatic anywhere in India, and certainly not in a village where the nearest quality school was a free one run on donations.
