Mr. Prasana Prabhu, Chairman, Vyakti Vikas Kendra India (The Art of Living) met Dr. Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad, Hon. Minister of State for Finance, to present a scalable solution “The Art of Living JalTara” to solve India’s Groundwater Crisis. This project has benefited over 50,000 farmers in Jalna Dist., Maharashtra by increasing groundwater levels to 14 Ft, optimizing crop yield by 42%, and increasing farmers’ income by 120% in just 1 year. Also, this initiative has resolved the drought & waterlogging issues and resulted in the 100% elimination of crop spoilage due to waterlogging, 58% increase in land usage and 88% increase in the employment.
