Art of Living Pitches Scalable Water Conservation Solutions Under MGNREGA

Mr. Prasana Prabhu, Chairman of the Vyakti Vikas Kendra India (The Art of Living) met Shri Amit Kataria, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development, Govt of India to discuss innovative & scalable solutions to resolve #watercrisis under MGNREGA. The Art of Living Water Conservation team started water conservation work more than a decade ago. Today 70 rivers/ streams are being rejuvenated, 6,56,000 trees are planted along the river basin in the 5 States - Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh & 7 States are under discussion.
